Gita Krishnankutty
Gita Krishnankutty translates fiction from Malayalam to English. Her published works include: Kaalam by MT Vasudevan Nair, The Eye of God by N P Mohamed, which won the Sahitya Akademi Award for Translation in 2001, and Cast Me Out if You Will, a collection of short stories and autobiographical essays by Lalithambika Anterjanam. She has received many awards including the Katha Award for Translation, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Overall Contributions and Crossword Book Award for Translation.
