We are delighted to share our new home with you.

This new website is more than a facelift – it reflects Mozhi’s vision for the future and lays out all the avenues through which we wish to engage with writers, readers, and translators of Indian literature.

Our new website features:

• Winning stories from all editions of the Mozhi Prize along with the shortlist, longlist, judges’ citations and our own impressions of the competition. In line with our desire to make Mozhi a multilingual platform, these stories are also available to read in their original language.
• Tips and tricks for future Mozhi Prize aspirants – on craft, story selection, and rights
• Mozhispeak – a platform for writers and translators to meet, learn and grow.
• A growing translation repository for those of you who want to discover new books, starting with a list of literary works from Kannada and Tamil published in English.
• An evolving list of curated resources for translators – covering craft, learning avenues, publication and much more. 
• A peer networks section, which is our hat tip to our forerunners who are doing wonderful work in the translation space, and whom we draw inspiration from.

In the months to come we plan to add exciting new content across genres, which you can navigate by author, contributor, theme, and language of the original article.

Finally, do stay tuned for The Mozhi Prize Anthology – I (A House Without Cats and Other Stories) which is forthcoming from SouthSide Books.
